Bennett’s wallaby

       
 
   

(Macropus rufogriseus)

Also known as the red-necked wallaby, the Bennett’s wallaby’s name translates to “large-footed animal with a red neck.” Bennett’s wallabies inhabit the coastal woodlands and open forests of southeastern Australia and are smaller than kangaroos, weighing only about 45 pounds when grown.
